20.06.2021

TallShips Race App and Battery Management System won for the Capstone Showroom. Capstone is a study package at Turku University of Applied Sciences, where students from different fields complete assignments received from companies in multidisciplinary groups.

Capstone has been patted for this batch this academic year and in the last week of April all 35 groups gathered in the Capstone Showroom to present their projects in the form of a short presentation.

Traditionally held on campus, the Showroom was held in Zoo for two different sessions due to the corona. From both sessions, two groups made it to the finals, competing against each other in their respective categories.

The categories were Best Presentation and Best Project Result and Technical Solution.

The following groups made it to the finals: Southwest Finland Waste Management (Naantali Housing Fair), Battery Management System, MMAM Center of Expertise for 3D Printing & Lingsoft: TallShips Race App.

The final was held in a separate Zoom and after the performances the jury withdrew to discuss the winning candidates.

The winners of the Capstone Showroom were Lingsoft: TallShips Race App for Best Presentation and Battery Management System for Best Project Performance and Technical Solution.
