Project Hatchery

TUAS Technical- and Business-sectors multidisciplinary project-study entities Project Hatchery and Innovationproject Capstone are part of the Practical pedagogy – research group, that is responsible for the coordination, development and research as a whole.

These study entities work as a test environment for the research groups research-, development- and innovation-projects and offer external educational- and service-products.

The activity of Practical pedagogy – research group is practical and it especially concentrates on innovation-pedagogy and in the development of the CDIO-model. By developing new methods and operating models, producing information via research and knowledge for learning and quality education, the research group supports students learning process as well as adapting teachers in to the everchanging job descriptions.

Innovation-pedagogy and CDIO-approach have been applied into TUAS for over a decade.

Both specify the demand of expertise and learning goals based on needs of the surrounding society and aim to activate students to take their own independent and active role in their studies.
