Capstone brings new sides out of companies and students. It enables a showcase for students, where competence and innovation get ignited. Students view organizations and their activity, products and services differently, which offers organizations a fresh new point of view.
New Capstone innovation-project may begin in many different ways: As a result of a research- & development-project, a raised problem or need, project-idea suggested by a student-group or by a motion from a university stakeholder, such as a company.
Common to Capstone projects is that the result of a project needs to be applicable and bring value to the end user. The suitability of an idea or a need for a Capstone project will be evaluated together with the project owner. If Capstone fulfills the need of an organization, a suitable team will be assembled and a project will begin.
As a result of a four month project there will be a potential solution for a problem in a form of a prototype or a service-concept. The client will be a part of the project as a project owner, expert and an reviewer.
